strange glitch

my friend was chaosing by himself and he died it was a private game. he left the game and when he got his body bak all his stuff was gone including his torch but not his anni.

there is a glitch that when u die if u pick up an item and it is on ur body that when u rj a game and get body it jacks up and you lose what u have on but nothing in invetory

i don't know why he lost his anni and not his torch though? are you sure your friend lost his torch and not his anni? (wouldn't lose his anni but) did he have 2 corpses with items? that could cause him to lose some items.

The corpes with the items of most gold value is the one that will be kept.

There is no way the torch can be gone unless it was duped/You dropped it.

Most likely the reason why you can't pick up the body with the items is because you need more str or dex. That is what happened with my barb when i pissed my pants when I couldn't pick it up.

I don't know about the torch, but strength bugging has been the culprit for many poofed gear.

well if u equip items on 2 different bodies and both of them are on ground and you leave game and join again then it just keeps whichever one had the most value in gold...and i just dont believe the part about him losing the torch

"Most Value" eh? I coulda sworn it will only keep your FIRST body (dead body anyway).\ and remove the rest of the bodies, regardless of the values of items those 2nd, 3rd, etc bodies had on them.

no its the most gold value. which ussually turns out the body with the most/best gear on it so its better that way.

dang that blows, i know i've bought jamella armor and shields to get corpses back. jeez i can imagine how that would suck ass.
