Blizzard most likely won't lower the price for it unless they want to do some sort of deal for a few months at a lower price.


They have enough money to go around but they insist on making more. Not much we as players can do.

I belive the current ETA is July time. But that might change depending on how well the beta test goes I suppose. Either way I hope it comes out soon.

Those corporate bastards have kept battle.net free of charge since 1994. They want to charge for a game that will rival EQ, Asheron's Call and Ultima Online. All of which you have to pay for.

I kinda wanna defend Blizzard, tho i think they should just take off the monthly price for WoW, and just charge $100 to buy it from stores. The reason i wanna defend them is because they make the best games ever and its true, they have such a big network running online (B.Net, for you under the rock :p) and they kept it free, even though they could make billions off it. Blizzard Rocks! Though lower the price for WoW!

How about this:

If they charge 10 bucks a month, I can live with it... on one condition: they make the game free to all WarcraftIII:TFT users. With all Blizzard games, I will most likely be bored after 6-7 months of continuous play. That will amount to 60-70 dollars spent... much less than 100 bucks spent. Also much less if they decide to charge 50 bucks.

100+70=170 - no way.
50+70=120 - maybe, if im desperate.
0+70=70 - hell yes.
