wasnt sure wat catagory to put this under
wat does it mean to have a buged item? for example my friend tell me i have a bugged exile but i dont no wat this means! (another friend gave me the exile)
do u find bugged items or creat them?

There is nothing bugged about the item, it's a perfectly valid cube recipe. As you know, Exile has the self repair mod on it, so you make it in an ethereal shield. In the case of Exile, you need a plain, ethereal pala shield (cannot be superior) and you put it in the Horadric Cube and use the socketing recipe. What it does is that it adds a random number of sockets to the item and also raises it's base defense by 50%, so if a normal paladin shiled would have 100 defense, if etheral, it would get 50% extra base (150 defense) and if cubed it will get 225 defense and a random number of sockets.
That's "bugging" for you.
Works with all plain socketables.

yes i think it works for any item. good for making high defense eth merc armors i think.
for an item to be bugged, it has to not normally be in the game with the mods that it has. like bugged sojs(with occy stats) or wizzy gloves for example.

hellsing means a hacked item, a bugged item would have to be an item created by a bug in the game code, like what frater explained

oh my bad. yeah a bugged item is like a mistake by the game which can make the item unique(not unique like unique item, unique like special/individual)

i dont know about u, but there doesnt seem to be any mention of increasing an ethreal items defense by 50%,
and dont u think its strange that the added defense is 50%,same bonus an item gets for being ethreal?
the recipe is NOT a bug, but the effect IS a bug. =/
if u wanna know if an item is hacked or not, well thats easy since hacked items are items that dont usually exist
if u wanna know if an item is glitched or bugged, well it will have a strangely lot of defense, or it will be ethreal + indestructible without the need of a zod

how much def does your "bugged" exile have... whenever ive seen an eth exile referred to as bugged it has had 1400-1500 def, whereas a regular eth exile will have 1000ish

the lowest ebug exiles have like 1.1k defense and they are sacred targes
i had a ebug sacred targe with 260ed and it was 1.2k def.
the highest (not 100% sure) is 1.7k~ in a vortex exile
a normal eexile has like 700-1000 def
