Let me join. I'm probably the biggest metallica and megadeth fan running around on the planet. I also like Slipknot, Tool, and Rammstein for example

SlipKnot and Rammstein both suck ass. You better come up with something better than Metallica, Megadeth, and Tool.

Rammstein is by far better than all of those my friend.

Quote:Why dont you go get some real music like carcass, decapitated, nasum, **** and ball torture, or even ****ing meshuggah. ive never even heard of these bands. EVER. they must be some indie/hardcore crap since they have such crappy names Quote:Hello, I'm a hardcore drummer. Nice to meet you. I lack the talent needed to perform complex beats and drum fills that sound easy on the ears so instead I'll just steal my technique, pure blast beats and double-kicks, from every other hardcore band who actually stole it from the death metal band Suffocation. that also applies to emo bands like atreyu ![]() and yes! i didnt go the vans warped tour, i just dont think i couldve survived between all those emos!! anyway, u all suck if u only listen to one genre of music, variate a bit. (but not emo, never variate that far)

Well, I like some songs of em. But for me it's like they are all the same.. Tool, what do you think about Cradle of Filth and Children of Bodom? ![]()

Hate to revive this... Well, not really.
Rammstein sucks. CoF is ALRIGHT. They could be a lot better. CoB is good but they have a lot of shitty songs. Korn, Disturbed, and SoaD all suck.
08-21-2006, 11:45 AM
children of bodom is everything your shitty nu-metal screamo bands wish to be.
08-21-2006, 11:49 AM
Whoa, I think you took me the wrong way Clint. =\
08-21-2006, 11:52 AM
took you literally
![]() children of bodom is modern metal. dragonforce would be but they're british
08-21-2006, 11:54 AM
Then what nu-metal do I listen to?
08-21-2006, 11:56 AM
not sure but you can't just diss children of bodom and expect the internets to take kindly to it
08-21-2006, 01:54 PM
You can't say you like every single one of their songs. Red Light in my Eyes? Come on.
08-21-2006, 02:22 PM
Tool, why are you in that group? lawl you think your music is better then everyone elses? lol imo you are really gay.
08-21-2006, 02:50 PM
IMO you don't know shit about anything. And gay. OH, ONE UP FOR TOOL!
08-22-2006, 12:47 PM
to be honest i don't listen to children of bodom for anything except sheer technicality. every part of that band is flawless.
08-22-2006, 01:17 PM
xDBD, dragon force is a spanish power metal band isnt it? I remember my friend telling me to listen to it because I like power metal, so I tried it out and it seemed like they were spanish.
I think it was either Iron Maiden or Celtic Frost that one of my other friends showed me. I liked the guitarist alot of one of them but their leader/singer just ruins it. . . . at ease, i puff trees till i look chinese
. . . and immigration says can we see . . . your green card, please.....?
08-22-2006, 01:21 PM
no, they're brits. trust me, they're limeys. mr. li is japanese in origin, but dragonforce formed in london in 1998?
going on memory. i know they're from london, and i'm quite sure herman has said they formed in '98, maybe '99
08-22-2006, 03:52 PM
Whoa, I thought they were way older than that.
