Help with ff9

Hey guys i just downloaded ff9 (final fantasy 9) for my pc and it wont run its in .rar format and i dont know what to do i got the emulator and deamon if i need it cdan someone help me?

.rar = winrar archive
go get winrar, extract it and then see if its an iso or w/e, then get a good emulator, im not sure which dont know much about psx emulation

It's a lot like Winzip, and I think that it is better. After that just highlight and drag the files into a folder or highlight the files and select Extract at the top.

first disk has 3 files .sub .ccd .img

have daemon load either cd1 or just the .ccd and it should work fine i had the same problem with ff7 and ff8 you may need the iso buster as well >.>

to run the newer games that are protected and ask for the real cd, just get clone cd (preferably 5.1 versions and up) and set it to hide cdr media. if your rom has that option just do it that way. it prevents the protection from being detected so it will run the game and ignore the warnings. games like mk4, dw4, re4 and sometimes d2 asks for the cd. hiding the cdr media allows it to run without the actual cd.
