As for the OP, that's life. You will always run into more assholes than good people, and you cant expect much more than that. Giving up though would be rather dumb.

The way i see an emo is:
A guy/girl that likes poetry extremly much and is extremly sensitive to everything and think that everything is around them.

So i guess hes an emo becouse the only type of people i would think make a thread about this crap is emo people.

I sort of understand the feeling. I help out people a lot and the most I get is like you said a thanks or a thumbs up. When you need help in return. Too many people turn their shoulders, even if you help them. But every once and a while you get some help when it's really needed. Don't give up, help others to an extent. Don't give up...
