Dvd Issues

Hey guys can you recomend a good FREE dvd burner and my problem is i downloaded fast and the furious tokyo drift and i burnt it to a dvd and I went upstairs to watch it.... but it wouldnt work no idea what the hell is wrong with it can someone help me out???

could be one of 2 things, you could have burned a data dvd, or it could be a divx. and as for a free burning program i suggest nero

probably data burnt. nero is good but sucks up resources. sonic mydvd doesnt use as much resources and works just as good. imtoo dvd works pretty good and converts more. if you're new to dvd creating, stick with ones that build easy such as imtoo.

i recommend DVDshrink. DVDshrink is freeware and uses nero to burn dvds. so if you have nero (trail version is fine) it will burn it inside dvdshrink's program. plus you can squeeze an 8 gig dvd onto a 4.7 gig dvd. and as long as you have dvd decrypter you can make backup copies of your dvds. ;-) as for your problem with with burning whatever you download it's prolly divx. my room mate burned abunch of divx movies on regular cds i think.
