I was playing normaly one day and then BOOM i get this:

ive seen this happen a few times before. basically your executable has somehow been modified to the point that it has become unrecognizeable to battle.net. my suggestion would be to run your antivirus/antispyware progs and make sure you arent using any no-cd cracks or any other third party programs like that. after you make sure your comp is clean, reinstall diablo 2 and get the latest patch. that should do the trick, lemme know how you make out

had that once. all i did was restart and it was just fine. i dont play much anymore. i just build mods, security and whatever for the other computers and help the boys with game problems they've gotten. they tend to play halo, d2, d2x, nfsu, nfsu2, mortal kombat 4, gta vice city and halo 2.

Hacking is another thing if u also have install the game many times ur risk increases because of the so called game watchers for bnet see every time u get online they can seee how many different cd keys u have used in the past.

I had the the first time I installed D2 on THIS comp. Which was a few days ago. Well, actually I think it was when I first set up D2Loader. I also set a lot of shortcut extenions btw. I only had it once and never had problems again.

I got it working!
The way i fixed it:
I scanned my pc for viruses and i had a infection so i removed it and it was working.
