I have version 1.11..not 1.11b of Diablo II..non expansion. Every time i try to edit my characters file with it it always shows an error message "Unable to enter game. Bad character version"...and i cant play with the character. can anyone hel me on this?

someone can go in detail with u, but this happened to me when i over edited someitems and wouuld get me this. maybe theres a real explanation. i would like to hear it
