What I pm'd you worked?
Speak of the devil, I just got an ip ban for idling in chat. Oh well, I've got like 5 neighbors with wifi to leech off of. +1 for me

Well, thats gay, it let me on, I had to log off for a sec, and now I can;t get back on. ****ing battle.net sucks ****.

This method has worked for me before. I tried it a long time ago though so I don't know if this is still working or not but im SURE it still works.
http://new*******.net/index.php?id=methods/no_rd The website is "new d2 event" without the spaces. Just remember to use the right kind of proxies. I think its the SOCK4/5 that always work. I wonder why no one ever tried this. Maybe this link will help people and cut down the spam. Obviously this isn't a permanent type of method around RD. Just use this untl your normal IP gets unbanned. Or use this method for things you know you're gonna get RD for. Good luck!

I tried, I still get restricted from using USEast even through socks\proxies... I think it might be banned by MAC address or something.

I'm starting to think that this is more than just an IP ban. Maybe something new theat Blizzard implemented. Like an alternate ban to using hacks. A special ban that lasts a week or something just for people who are using mild hacks like MH or ilvl program or D2Loader or something lol. Just a thought...
Dude I also suggest you seriously stop playing D2 for a few days just so you don't keep making it last longer. Go do something else. Make anew hobby or do something that was supposed to be done a long time ago(getting a life). Lol jk.

i had ur same problem it really suck i though i was banned but i wasnt... i thought i was banned so i deleted d2 and after a week or 2 *cant remember* i got really bored and put back on laptop to see if it let me on *Cuz i was goin to play single* and it let me on...SO I WAS bouncing off the walls for 2 reasons.
1. it let me on.. of course... 2. i lost 3 dudes that held a lot of gear i was goin to let them use

I think its a MAC address ban. I've changed both my public and private IPs and it still wont let me in.
I changed private just for the fun of it I guess, they would never be able to see it much less ban for it. The public IP changed when I reset my modem, and it did change. This is messed up, I swear they are temp banning by your MAC address now. I know they changed the policy recently, there has been a lot of bitching on the Bnet forums... I didn't even have a single hack on when I was temp banned so it is not that. I was typing a little fast in a channel thats all, I wasnt copy and paste spamming just typing at my usual 50\60 WPM speed and I was temp banned... Blizzard sucks!

Well, I would say that it was toyr MAC Adress, or your cd key. As those are the only 2 things that are unchanged.

It's not to my MAC address cause I got on with proxies, and if my MAC address was banned it wouldn't have let me on either way.

No no the temp ban is usually checked by IP. They can easily set up temp bans on realms for your CD key or MAC address. It looks like they have started to do one of the two.
Additional Comment: That is interesting Meg, deleting the reg more then one time... hmm. Note: For those that do not know, your MAC address is a code assigned to your networking hardware on your computer. It does not change unless you go in and change it yourself, which can be dangerous if you do not know what you are doing.

Weirder yet is that all I do to get rid of that is restart my computer and it has worked everytime.
