CTA is the most useful weapon of all time IMO.

Although, an Insight on a Merc is...EXCELLENT..for a hammerdin. It helps SO much.

I vote Chaos. A double Chaos sin is quite nasty (PvM).
You don't kill the mob terribly fast, true, but crowd-control becomes very easy.

Vak did say "Chose YOUR favorite RUNEWORD" not "the best and most effective," because that would be vague and it all depends on what use you're going to have for the runeword...

Personally, I love Last Wish to death... My smiter was unstoppable with that thing and I can't even tell you how many times I soloed chaos tristram with it.
