don't double post please. and i never heard of that kind of build, doesn't sound very good though.

It's actually quite a solid build. My clanmate has one, I'll ask him what he uses, but I think that it's pretty much the same PvP Hammerdin gear, with FoH stick on switch and Offensive skillers +4x lifers instead of 20 life scs.

9x offensive gcs

20 To Blessed aim , Vigor, Concentration, Blessed hammer, Foh
1 to Holy shield and Conviction, holy shock

The offensive gcs will raise Conviction and hammer damage, making conviction less stackable, forcing them to stack even more, losing damage and life.

Putting points into Conviction is a very bad idea, because it has so many synergies, it's fine if you just get it from your stick.

Mages are very powerful when built properly. There are many threads about them in other forums. Ideal stats are 9k hammers/6k foh 4k+ life 48 fhr 75/125 fcr. I won't post gear or skills because part of the fun of building a mage is figuring out how to optimize the skills.

9k is very weak Hammer damage on a Mage build, so yes, I'd much rather figure the skills out myself.

I dont use foh stick switches in favor of cta, so 9k hammers/6k foh is probably best one can attain with what i use at 93ish.

You could use a CTA FoH stick, but you're right, you would probably be a little underpowered.

I use hoto as main weapon... using a cta foh stick only adds +3 foh/conv, doesn't help foh at all compared to main weapon...

You can save skills by having base Conv. Also, don't forget the +1 all from CTA.
