Ok, so i'm stuck here at school doing alot of homework and stuff, and some skitsofrenic(sp) person keeps bothering my friend. I guess all and all school helps us in the end but what i dont understand is why teachers constantly lie to us. I've caught almost all my teacher lieing this year, and its not even fully 2 weeks yet! I'm finding this very discouraging... thank god(me) that i have music.

Yeah, you learn which teachers are awesome and which are worthless, and as bad as it is in highschool it's twice as worse in college. I failed a computer science class (along with 3/4 of the other students) becuase it was being taught by a first-year teacher (er, professor?) who used to be an engineer at NASA. That sorta influenced my decision to drop out along with a couple other things.

ironically, prestigious colleges are the ones with the worst classes because the professors are so busy with research that they have graduate students teach their classes while community colleges have the professors themselves teach the class

well i dont know where u guys live, but in my school (high school kinda, but different) in montreal Canada i have gym (which is basically sports, and weve never done any gymnastics there anyway) twice every NINE school days.

I have french SIX time every 9 days, the worse class you can ever imagine, especially with a bitch teacher like mine. The educational system is so ****ing shitty here, I mean, there is NOTHING left in the french language for us to learn, but yet they make it the most demanding of classes.

Also we have NO choices in which classes we want. It's either u take what they give you, or u change school.

honestly i seriously cant wait to get the hell out of high school (last year..) so that i can finally go to an English college and actually learn what i want to learn, and not some dumb shit they force me to.

and dont get me started on my teachers, worse bunch of incompetent mother ****ers ever (except a few who are cool)

Ugh, I come from a rather small school (my graduating class was 30-something students) and my only two electives were French and woodshop. ... I took woodshop and I actually enjoyed that.

But the worst was taking English. Well, they called it English class, it was more of a Literature class. Nothing is worse than being forced to read some gay shit that will never benefit me in the real life.

I'd rather be reading something enjoyable, not the Diary of Ann ****ing Frank. What a ****.

Yeah. I have one shitty teacher, and it's in Art class, so big whoop. She's stupid as a bag of nails, talks to herself, and is basically a nutjob in every aspect of the word.

But hey, it's an easy class so I don't mind so much, as long as she doesn't try to talk to me.

I've got 500-something people in my class this year and we've got a ton of electives. I feel bad for you guys. I'm taking Web Design this year and next year I'm going to be in Welding.

Anyways, my art teacher was badass. An old vietnam vet and a huge pothead. He'd let us listen to any music (I mean any, we had Adam Sandler's Piece of Shit Car uncensored playing one time..), goof off most the time, make 'candy dishes'(ashtrays) out of clay, draw nudes, etc.
And as fun as art class was, our History class was better. We would split up into different groups each chapter, and make video-recordings of the students doing all sorts of crazy crap, so long as it did a good, engaging job of presenting their topic in the chapter you were guaranteed an A. We'd take all the clips, string them together, and watch em' two days before the test.

man.. I wish I had copies of those tapes, good times.

LOL I remember now, we'd have this competition between my buddies about drawing ****s and whatever on each other's desk, and one time I created this huge intricate picture of a **** on my friend's desk while he was sick and got caught red handed. He took me aside after class and asked me what the hell I was doing, to which I replied "I'm expressing myself." I could tell he was trying to hold a straight face through it all and after I said that he started laughing and told me to get lost.

hey a.d. thats pritty tight for experiences. and i thinks that shit is funny as hell. we never got to make our own videos becuase some dumbasses ruined it for the hole shool my freishman year 4 years ago.

these 4 idiots decided that it would be funny to make a live news broadcast for a current event. well wat they did was act like there was an earthquake, and stand on top of second floor research building.(4stories high- secind story is like 15 feet).
well anyway there was a tree and the idea was for him to land in the tree. haha ya big miss; he jumped and landed on a small branch that broke and made him fall and break his arm.(stupid ass). haha well it was funny on the tape but him and his budys coriogrophing the hole thing got suspended for endajuring there lives even though only that one kid got hert. and the bann of unsupervised videos being made or even showed in school were banned.
anyway best of luck to ya in high school and make it worth while.
