#1
Well This is kinda retarted sence i just got back from School In GA
IASO (Information Secruity Officer)
A+ / N+
TCP/IP
Windows XP / outlook
Switches and routers

(just to let u know so u dont think i wont understand what your talking about - Post away!)

Well this is the problem. Buddy of mine crashed his Pc and just gave it to me, I was like Muahhaha. Well there was a GeFroce installed on it and he could not get the software that supports it to run right. He desided to disable it and use the default Dirve (built into the motherbourd). The way he though he had to do it was Disabling the Drive inside windows (whoops). Then taking it out of the system and just hucking up to default.

Well when he did this it made it so when he booted into Windows once it came to the Welcome screen the screen would go blank. He then try to fix it him self (this is what u get thinking Playing Diablo all day makes u a computer Wizzard "Ill just cast a Blizzard over it it will fix it)

Well To make a long story Short. When i Boot the computer Up once it gets to ( well sould i say try to) Welcome screen. I get the Blue Scarn OF DEATH!!!!. I was like ok fine Ill just reinstall windows. Well Gay ass Windows Boot Disk are just for mouse and keybourd support and u can run fdisk bc its not there. So i made a Windows 98 Boot disk just so i can get to a C:/ Ok Fine but here is were i run into my problem. I no im doing it right bc im god. But even god can make Errers.

C:/format C:

Format is not supported on this drive "C:/"

How do i change it so it does support it bc im install Windows on a Dubed copy and need to format it then fdisk partition the drive and then manuly reinstall windows.

BLAH!

I'm not really getting on what your trying to say, and i am no computer expert but when i format my computer, i just pop in the windows 98 floppy and wait for it to load. Then i do the A:/Fdisk thing (delete partition, make new partition). Restart, let it load again and then i type A:/format c: . Don't know if there is a difference between the A:/ and the C:/ . Not sure if this would help solve your problem but it's just some info you might consider.

get a bootable windows cd. put it in the drive and restart the system. it will ask if you want to boot from cd to push any key. do that and it will take you to the windows, it will load, delete its old partition and make a new partition. if its a 80+gig harddrive, i'd partition like 22gig for windows and main softare (office, codecs, media players etc.). the other half you can partition for everything else. as long as you have a bootable cd, you'll be fine.

if it doesnt boot up from cd, go into cmos and set the boot order. make the cd boot first.
