smart ass lol.

i'm gonna ask the people to build it for me so i figured when i ask i'll know what exactly to ask for so they don't lie/trick me into buying more expensive stuff.

are you building it from the ground up? if so, get a bare bone kit. you can get one somewhere between 129 and up and they come with the processor. all you need is roms, diskdrive and harddrive. heres one i recently bought. MSI RX480 Neo2-F Socket 939 ATX Barebone Kit AMD Sempron 3000+ OEM CPU Fan ATX Mid-Tower Case with a 400 Watt Power Supply at TigerDirect.comits 178.98 and reduced to 133 with the rebate. built it for someone that also asked for ideas about a cheap computer that can be used for small games. you can overclock the processor to 2.79 with the right memory cards and you can get a card for it for about 50 bucks.

i can email a super cheap computer build that is actually quality. all of these parts have superior customer reviews and ratings. this is just a barebone computer though (w/o keyboard, mouse, monitor, or operating system). the total cost is less than 250 dollars. the wonders of Newegg..

if your interested, just drop me a pm and ill gladly email you the list

craigslist: san francisco bay area classifieds for jobs, apartments, personals, for sale, services, community, and events

You can find a lot of manufactured PC's of yesteryear for well under $500, which usually come with an OS and office, printers, scanners etc etc..

that is if you don't mind buying those kinda PC's. I check craigslist daily for sweet deals on a lot of crap SONY VAIO DESKTOP LOADED 3.4 ghz/1 gb ram/more <-- that one caught my eye..

Thats true A.D. but someone's older model comes with older problems 9 out of ten times... slowing down or degenerating so to speak.. if not other problems like hidden trojans or virus'. People here in phx also have power supply problems a month later or so.. Classified's are great way to find treaures for cheap but you need to dig deep to find them..

or could wait for the newyear sales and when they release a cleaner core2. which means the older ones will drop heavy in price including the BB kits.
