Is this a good smiter gear setup for killing ubr trist?
Helm-Kira's Ort
Weapon-Grief BA
Armor-Fort
Shield-Eth Exile
Belt-Dungos
Gloves-Dracs
Boots-Gore Riders
Ring-2x Raven
Amulet-Highlords
Also how many HRs would all of this cost on USEAST NL? Its been a while since I have played and didn't know how the eco is

i would say get better rings and try and go 4 a better ammy. like go 4 2 sojs and maras. i have no idea wat that helm is so i cant help u there but coa is prolly a better choice 2. everything else seems 2 be pretty good

No, DR is useless in uber trist, the things that hurt you the most is the elementals so good resist is needed, especially for Mephisto. As for your helm, that works just fine and imo is better for uber trist because of its massive resist, as for the fort, ED does not work on smite unless the ED mod is on the shield so use coh instead for 65 all resist. Highlords is useless, deadly strike does not work with smite. Also, for added resist you could get a treachery for 65 all resist but to answer your question about the price, i'm not sure.

Thanks man, also would a smiter with this gear be able to kill dclone, for an anni?

Yes, in fact dclone is alot easier to kill then doing uber trist because its only one monster, once you get life tap on Diablo its impossible for him to kill you and since you use dracs/exile it'l kick in really quick.

@rizopas88: That is a good setup, exactly what I would use. The only thing is the rings though. Idea would be +20 STR +15 DEX +life +mana +resi rares, but those cost heaps, so if I were you, I'd make a combo between Raven/Dwarf/Wisp. Raven's are a fine choice due to the +DEX (less needed for block). Also, you could use Thundergod's instead of Verdungo (for even more +STR).
@hwoarang_t4: SoJs on Smiter are the most retarded choice ever. Kira's Ort is a good choice because you stack vs. Meph's Conviction.
@joshzarko: HL is for IAS%, not DS. Ed% from Fortitude does work with Smite. CoH is an option, but I'd say that Forti > CoH any day.

I dont know Frater.. have you tested that out yourself, i tried putting Forti on my smiter and it didn't seem to give any extra damage for smite.

You already found the answer for that in another thread. I didn't need to test it for myself, you just follow the standard equations for calculating damage.

Only things I would change is shako for kiras ( um it if you need res ), maras for highlords, and if you dont need dex switch one raven out for a bk ( ar is not needed for smite ). Also in preference due to the ias advantage I'd use a pb grief instead of ba.
