its to break the stereotype of all rap is about hoes and money.. why isnt exactly fair to the artist who arent singing about that (hell, even eminem sang a few songs that i thought was really well written and are thoughtful.. not many. but a few!)

Rock n Roll created Rap. One of the very first rockbands song writer wrote similar to rap and thats where it originated.

Remember the Aerosmith/ RunDMC concert? Yeah exactly you probably dont. That concert caused rap to change and created a mix between the 2 called rapcore.


Then along comes gang music. Meaning sex,drugs,cars,money. Now what do you think people would rather hear? Some worthless wannabe gang member? or someone who actually knows what they are talking about?

yea i read about it kinda wierd how rock spawned from blues, country music, and gospel. oh well, it's what makes america great, unlike rap which i look at it as any music that i can't understand the lyrics. if music tries to tell the public something, how are we ever supposed to learn anything from rap???

well, lets look at it this way, sure, they are rappers out there who suck, cant rap and doesnt try to show ppl things.. and some of them just rap horrible.. where you cant understand the words they say.. but u just cant say ALL rap sux, thats all my point is.. you just cant say that because it isnt true! its like saying rock sux, punk sux. sure, some songs might suck, but, hell, theres alot of other songs that are great!

i cant stand rap. i think its kinda pointless. like take tupac for instance he took ballet lesson and hes talking about how he live on the streets and did some other crap. same with eminem his real man is marshal mathers the third, he came for a rich family too, ya shows u how poor he was.

pac was lucky because he did get into a art school mainly becuse of his rapping skills, thats how he was able to take those courses..

and his mother worked really hard to give him a good home.. specially with her track record (she was in jail because of things she did.. ya know, black panther member) his father.. i cant recall what happen, but i know he wasnt there at all for his kids
