Hey, the constant hostility. Just because my troops knocked down your southern front and obliterated your navy. But I thought that the point of ladder was to give people an incentive to play it by making Ladder-Only Items. I think its stupid to allow them to be incorporated in the normal game.

Those internet companies will start duping the ex- ladder only items right away. Once they get their hands on it, and the ebayers start biting, these items will drop in value very quickly. Be sure to trade them RIGHT AWAY.

i dunno wen the ladder season ends, there were rumours it was in january , obviously not. wen the season does end and chars are turned to non ladder the items will stay and value will be high. blizz keeps a tighter watch on ladder, thats about the only reason i could give. besides, ladder isnt totally unduped, its just alot better than nl from what i can tell

i guess dex is right cause ladder u dont see duped items hehe and only cause its basicly a ranked system i think thats why oooo yeah this is off topic but i saw a 313 psn dmg sc on ladder today some guy said he made it in cube i saw it in the trade window that was pretty cool i want some before ladder ends sell them for a lot on nl

The official D2 site has all the information on ladder. I believe its under the FAQ part of the site. But i think what happens is when ladder ends you have the option to turn them to non-ladder or play ladder (which will have ended so any other levels will not be counted) and also the ladder only items will not disappear at all, you will just not be able to find them. Please dont quote me on this b/c it has been a while since I read it last.

Yeah, I have a fear of the ladder-only items when the season ends. NL economy is gonna go to absolute poop.
And latest rumor I've picked up (don't really go by me on this, not the best source, but a source nonetheless) is that new season will start when the next patch comes out.

it was supposed to be 4 seasons a year. so 3 months for ladder per season. but idiots thought that their characters were going to be deleted and all their items lost, so they sent in threat letters to blizzard to get them to extent ladder. i heard it was going to reset in august 2004, so we just have to wait.

09 was the best, even with the hexes. they were easy to get, and some people traded a LOT for them. i say bring it back.
