Actually, the risk is less with mousepad's, than with sting's. sting's has no antidetection whatsoever, where mousepad's antidetection is still stable. the mousepad bannings in july were those (like myself) who were using beta4 and earlier versions.

everyone who used ONLY beta5 (which is the version that was cracked) survived the bannings, and are still using it now. the reason that beta4 was detected was really nothing more than a fluke.

(for those that don't know, mousepad's had, when you loaded it and entered a game, a line of text that stated 'mousepad's maphack version (blah blah blah) loaded' and blizzard simply happened to have warden adjusted (warden, btw, is actually a third party program, and not a blizzard program) to scan for a line of text similar to the one that maphack displayed. once that line of text was removed in beta5, warden had nothing to exploit for detection anymore.

that is why people who have been using only beta5 since july are still playing undetected on battle.net.

however, EVERY third party program, with the possible exception of MMbot carries the risk of detection, and should only be used at the user's own risk.

well according to darth, mp is undetectable, and is the full maphack (meaning does what stings with plugin can do, i believe)
and stings, well if u do anything more than reveal act its detectable

then go to mousepad's forums and talk to the following members

snipeye and/or baclash and/or timesjoke

they have each been running it safely since the july ban wave. or, you can simply decompile the antidetection code, or contact herzog_zwei and ask him about the detectability for this version.

there are plenty of resources available to you to help assuage your fears other than making a grand statement like that one.

Sorry Im not a newb, I dont use Shrines, I know when my next level is, I never chicken because my characters are godly and dont die, and anti-detection? Im still using stings and not banned.

Ill need a better reason to download this MP MH. You didn't convince me.

sorry to say this to you, but i have no intention of trying to convince you to do anything.

use sting's and be secure in the knowledge that it is highly unlikely that blizzard will send out a module to detect it.

other's will use mousepad's and be secure in the knowledge that it has a high probabliltiy of never being detected given the antidetection that is included.

just don't expect me to sell it to you, that isn't why i am here.

Rofl.. this made me laugh.. well yeah use it if you want it or not like I said previously I won't use this hack I use stings and I am comfortable with it and see no need to use this map hack.

Yes, mousepad's was caught in the july mass banning. however, everyone who used only the beta5 version not only survived the banning, but continue to use it with no ill effects.

i think you may be thinking of Easyplay when you say 'bannings' in more than the singular.

i grew the balls to try the whole thing (what do i care its my parents comp) and it sais a need a key file... seeing as how i dont know what that is or how to get one i guess im either screwed or the final result of this mh= failure.:p

you don't need the key, you need to read the resolution to this problem which i stated earlier. (sorry, but this is the 4th forum i have posted this crack on, and unfortunately between this forum, Mousepad's fourm, Ladderhall and EdgeOfNowhere, this is the most high maintenence of the four when it comes to dealing with these minor issues. it really isn't anything personal)

create an empty notepad file and name it d2maphack.key and add it to the extracted folder.

This is tough, any program that sues injected .dll files into the game can eb dectectable by battle.net including mousepads. We don't really know how powerful is. It's a risk but if the new mousepads acaully works, then it would be cool.

Ill scan for anyone that is suspicious, since not a lot of people hang around in ladderhall and mousies forums, they might know about you for some reason

no worries, as you can see from reading the posts at mousepad's, there was a bit of skepticism there too.

for the record, and i think you can back me up on this now Loits, the reason the crack is out is basically to give the prison sex lovin' to blizzard for screwing around with not only us players, but mousepad himself.
