Spyware?? HELP

hey i have some sort of spyware adware or something...i get nothing but pop ups ive tried adaware spyhunrt search and destroy but its still popping up like crazy...ne help??

i think there's a program that specifically targets cws but i dunno where it can be found

Check your installed programs and maybe you can have it removed manually or go to download.com and download Grisoft AVG and search throughout every file on your C drive.

small issue. there are 2 main programs that will remove it. 1 is pest patrol. the other is superadblocker (has spyware,malware remover)

or...

you can go to the trend micro website and do a free spyware scan and have it removed that way. another site is stopsign. i havent tried it myself. my cousin uses it constantly since hes a pron fanatic and gets dialers and malware alot but it seems to work just fine.................... one of these days they should sticky a page that has links to free scanners such as the one at trend micro, kaspersky and stopsign.

You could always download, Spybot Search and Destroy, work's very well for me. Havn't had spyware in 8+ month's

would be more useful if we knew what we were dealing with like the name of the pest. most common pests are easily dealt with by using one of the trend micro products. they have a free spyware scanner and a free antivirus scanner so stop by their site and just try either one. chances are its reoccuring because its in the registry, if thats the case get superadblocker or something. it doesnt just block ads, it removes adware, malware,etc from your system including the ones that lurk in the registry.
