Sisters
#1
My sister sent me this card for the holidays.I can't think of a better time to share it. The first part is her writing to me,the second is the poem in the card.I hope you all have a sister or brother as wonderful as mine are.

Dear Pammy,I was just thinking about you today and thanking God for putting you in my life. You are such a strong ,wise person who has so much to offer to anyone around her.I love you dearly!,Love Drox

POEM

We've shared so much.
I love the word sister,
Because I love you.
That word brings back memories
Of fun things we used to do.

When friends mention your name,
I impulsively whisper ,
With pride I can't conceal,
"I'm proud of my sister"

I love the word sister
and all that it conveys,
Because we have shared so much
Of fun and laughter days.

(I have a great sister ^^)

Thank you^^ She is actually older than I am,but,oddly...I am more the *big sister, fighter of battles, protector* This has not changed from the time we were very small. My sister has a tender heart, but often needs someone to stand up for her.I happened to always be that someone.

I guess sweet is one way to put it. I always saw it this way right ...wrong...or whatever.
She is MY sister...I WILL defend her, even if she gets herself into trouble.
My sister is adopted, and spent a lot of time being ridiculed for this. She would say rash angry things, and need to be protected.I fought for her always.
It never mattered to me she was adopted...she was MY SISTER.....anyone having a problem with that had to deal with me. They had also better be sure to have had insurance paid up,and not afraid of blood.
No one messed with MY sister...those that did learned quickly the folly of this particular action.
