I agree with Frater...you kids don't know anything about smiters. -_-My smiter is West Ladder is what you say "GFG." 4.8k life, 2.5k average smite dmg, and he certainly does NOT use ev exile. I use upped ber'd HoZ. It is much better overall.Also, do NOT, and I repeat, DO NOT use berber CoA. It requires way too much strength, which means sacrificing a large amount of life. What makes or breaks a smiter is their life, primarily. Jah'd Shako or Ber'd Shako are by far better helms to use.And to the person who said +skills dont matter to smiters, just GTFO right now. +skills adds the most damage to smite, in fact. They are pretty important.Also, find the AVERAGE damage of an EV Exile. the damage range is 1.8k-2.6k, which means the average dmg is 2.2k. With my upped HoZ, the damage is 2.5k-2.5k. WHich means the average smite damage is higher, and HoZ also adds +20 vita, meaning more life.If anyone ever uses an EbotdZ on a smiter, they should be smacked. For ubers, use LastWish. For everything else, PvP included, use GriefZ. There is no other weapons to use.And for PvP, never use gores. Use treks for more str, life, and fhr. CB helps, but it doesnt do enough damage to make it worth your time to bother with 15% cb in a duel.

2-Try the Exile on.... You would do more damage.

4-With the HoZ you would use Zod and have it ETH for it to be "much better overall" as you put it.
5-CoA is the best to use for the smiter on phys. duels
6- When you do get hit your life steal would just keep healing over and over and over and over and over.....
so you "CAN" put the things you need for your CoA (ber,ber) and you use it for the EX Dr. (if you didn't know)
7-Why use the treks for str? if you can already use what you got... and it adds nearly 0 damage.. and very little life, also witht he fhr you will hit all your frams already if you are "GFG" using the 20/5s scs
8- Down to the problem of Zerk or PB, it really doesn't matter... They are both pretty much the same "FOR SMITERS" "Not any other melee"
9-Back to the helm, if you use the shako, people are just going to as they say "lol" at you.... And if your still on that helm stuff use a "GFG" circ instead of the shako "If you so are GFG"

2. Wrong. HoZ does more damage than Exile. Exile is not an option for Smiters, it's a noob choice.

5. I like it as well, due to the FHR% and sockets, however Shako still is a good choice.
6. Life Tap is BM, that's wh only noobs use Exile.
7. Choice of boots is really up to you and depends on your gear selection.
8. It does matter whether it's PB or BA. One of them has a range of 1, while the other one has 3. BA for PvP, PB for PvM.
9. No serious Smiter would ever use a Circlet.

You could, but then you'd have to Zod it, and I'd say that it's way more worthwhile having for example a Ber or Jah in your Zaka.

Yes, both of those are BM. Your point? (Actually not all curses are BM, especially if casted by a nec).

I whould use last wish Pb not grief, highlords ammy or Metal GRid, Lay of Hands GLOVES, an high def gores, and T-gods.... I'm use to playing HardCore, and have not died yet with this set up... 40+ uber run's.. oh ya USE EXILE Dude its worth it

eh really guys this bulid of mine is so old now..he was going to be for pvp but in the end i used him better in uber trist so thats all hes made for now..but ty for all the hep and info if i do ever have the feelin i want to make a pvp a smiter this will all help

i use to think exile wtfpwnz0rz upd hoz, but a couple days ago i threw on exile and my dmg went way down...1.3k -2.5k smite, while with hoz i do 2.3k smite.

with hoz i also have more life and block and res. exile is only viable against wwbarbs.

edit: actually upd hoz can still own them barbs hard

Conviction = you dead. You need to stack more resists past cap. Also if your on a budget, put 1 point in Salvation and use that only when your Killin Meph and just switch back to Fant for D/Baal. If you have extra skill points, locate them in Resist Fire/Resist Cold/Resist Lightning as each actual point in these increase your maximum capable resistance to that type by 0.5 (So 2 points = 1% max resist). Start by catching the ones not already increased by exile (dun remember what ones Exile Increased). On a side note, why are you using EBotD? Use Grief, LW, Black or Astreon's Iron Ward.

Anyways, I always thought LW (For ubers only) killed the best and it does give you a chance to cast fade which increases your resists.
