heyas, just wanting a little bit of knowledge on this topic.. now when i played back in 09 i had nearly every spot on my chars body taken up by a duped item. i didn't even know what perming was so obviously i never did it, and throughout i'd say at least 500 games i never had anything poof. as far as i can tell, bnet is not sendin people out looking for dupes, but it's done by a system... something that checks ID's when people leave games? well i just wanna know if the likelihood of poofing has increased this patch and if so by how much..
would i be an idiot to join a game by myself with no one i can call in to perm me before i leave? if i play with a char with duped items do i need to make sure to always have someone there to perm me? just wanna know my limitations with those kinda items.. thanks

Yeah you will need someone to perm you sometimes you get lucky and your items don't poof this is rare since you have like a 50/50 chance of them poofing or not. But yeah just to be safe either dont buy unperm items or keep them on a mule like sojs and whenever you go in it make sure you perm "Going in trade window then leaving real quick" hope this helped you.

Questions easy to answer I get them all the time when playing d2 perople ask me "How do you perm" so I explain it all in detail. No Biggie..

damn.. so i guess it would be impossible to do mf runs with a char that uses duped gear unless i run em with someone else? that kinda sucks.. this is gonna take some serious consideration heh... thanks though
