Question with my internet and D2.

I recently bought a wireless card, and I'm currently sharing internet with my neighbor - who is like, 20 feet away. I was using msn, at 36 kbps, and now I'm at an average 700 - 750 kbps.

A lot of the reason I got a wireless card was to make my experience on Diablo more enjoyable, and less laggy, but its actually been the opposite. I'm having trouble understanding why I can download music in 5-10 seconds now, and I'm actually able to watch videos on web pages, but I run diablo laggier now than I did with a dial up connection. Can someone help please?

im not to smart but i have a theory.(i cant spell i dont think)

maybe his internet or firewall kinda blocks programs from accessing web.
and are you sure his modem always on.

oh and btw stealing is bad.

i get internet from nieghbors about 30 yards down street and connection isnt reliable to download shit but i play d2 fine on it.

hmm i have 100 MPS of cennection and i still lag on D2.. sorry man but yu cant stop lag..blame blizzard

By lag, I don't mean just a little lag. Like... Well, I just adjusted my video card, and firewall so I run a smidge better. But I noticed my FPS is like, 50, but my ping is really high. Is there anything I can do to reduce my ping? It's like, 1200 average.
