Please be aware that Windows Vista is still extremely insecure. It is worse then Windows XP pre-SP2, which, if put on the internet without a firewall, will get infected by Sasser or another worm in an average of 45 minutes or so.

The network stack has yet to be attacked (brand new), the kernel protection is iffy and makes life tougher for antivirus companies, there are statements from Microsoft that they felt pressured to make the release date, and felt it was not ready.

I will be waiting at least a year, or perhaps even longer.

Vista comes out here 2morrow. And i see that the prices are alot cheaper than what i thought for the Ultimate or whatever edition.

Might get a 2nd 1gb 667mhz stick of ram so i have dual channel working and then think about getting vista.
