Cow Level Help

I need help with cow level, i have the official brady games diabloII guide, but in recipes for horadric cube it says,"1 Town Portal Book + 1 Wirt's Leg = Portal To Cow Level, but its not working and ive beeten diabloII L.O.D. In Normal, Nightmare, And Hell Mode, plz, Help me.

if your partied with a person who killed cow king,you cant make the cow level anymore in that difficulty.thats why people dont kill king.

u have to be in act 1
u have to have never killed the cow king before.

+ you need to have killed Baal for the corresponding difficulty.
