Installing LOD not working

Ok, so I installed diablo two and now I'm trying to install LOD and this is what happens:

I insert the LOD disc and the little program/thing comes up and i hit install
when the install loading bar things come up it says insert diablo 2 play disc
i insert the disc and it waits a bit (doing no progress installing) then it says to insert the disc like it's not in there.



any idea why? I really want to play.

is your disk the real copy or is it scratched? try cleaning it and try again.

It's not scratched, it works when i play diablo 2 (normal) but it's just not working for the install.

I got this kind of problem only with a very old set of rusty D2 CDs... the CD is probably scratched, thats my guess....

otherwise u might check whether u inserted the right CD, maybe u mixed up the cinematics cd with the play cd...

what os are u using?

Windows XP.

Is this the first time you have installed LOD? One time i did a reinstall and had to go though and find a folder that was leftover from the last time and delete it.

Not first time. It's working now, don't know why though. Nevermind guys.
