In theory, d2loader is bannable.
In practice, it never has been and I'm quite certain that it never will be.
Anyone who said anything to the contrary is lying. No-one has ever been banned for d2loader.

Also blizzard support people dont want you to use any 3rd party program, period. So any program that may affect your game play will be counted as a violation to officials at blizz.

yup, but they are sure getting parnoid about the duping
i just played earlier today with stings and loader, and wasn't banned, but i am lately getting network interrupt for no apparent reason. i think its b/c im switching the auras too fast..

If your getting connection interrupted it's probably just the realm lagging badly, not your fault, and scrolling through your auras too fast would give you a realm down.
People have been using d2loader for quite a while (as in 2-3 years approximately? (correct me if i'm wrong)), and there are no reports of them being banned yet.

As long as it does not display the "Your account has been closed" when you login, your not banned. You probably just join/exit game or spam or switches auras too quickly.

I've used f1ndip, loader and sting's all at the same time and never had a problem. Nor, have I ever heard of any other's getting the ban hammer (24k dmg) for using loader.
Yes, it is, in fact against BNet's TOS, and it is trivial to detect (from what I've read, possibly in the readme, I'm not sure), but not once have I heard that anyone's lost anything to it.

I just got a "your connection has been temporarily restricted from this realm, please try to log in at a different time" and the only program i use is d2loader. The only reason i use d2loader is to run the game in windowed mode ;\

u do know that you dont need loader to run d2 in a window right? just add -w at end of the target text field
