yeah when i started playin i didnt like it too much. But then it became more fun and when i found the iron dagger respawn at goblins in lumby,i thought i would be set for life. Free worlds are boring and when you get members, it starts to get fun. So then i was playing for 1 1/2 years and skidude starts playin and before a month he has all his skills higher than me.

Runescape is played by alot of kids because first of all its free and second of all the game is a very basic simple layout so that kids who dont have the brains to comprehend very quickly play it. I use to play it, but i quickly got bored and found d2 to be 100x funner.

Just for arguments sake, please people, only compare Runescape to other free games. WoW costs monthly money, but Runescape (free worlds) is free. It does suck, even among the free ones. There is no need to drag paid games into the fight = ).

But the thing is, if you want more content, you have to pay per month. In that sense, people have a right to compare it to WoW or whatever they like. As for me, I've gotten to about 34 in runescape or something, 2 lvl 60's in WoW, and I have to say that both suck.

Ive played for 2 years and i thought the game was alright.. the content was ok..

But the creator probably spent an assload of time on coding this java game...

Tocompare.. i HATE runescape 2 compared to classic.. Yes classic's graphics was gay as HELL.. but i dont play for graphics..i play for entertainment.. if a game can entertain me i would probably play it.

For starters the game would suck.. but once u get to intermediate mode ull love the game..

i playd rs since classic lol, i havent playd in about 7 months, actually i sold my acc for d2 items, my acc was litterly one of the better known ones..not gonna say name due to the fact if of some of you playd it and im not getting flamed lol

all ill say is mine was lvl 125 and the game got overun with little noobie kids, it was fun when people my age playd it everyonce in a while, but ppl got no lives on that shit now

The Reason why runescape is so popular is it can run on any old computer, and for the ppl that arnt tech savey to upgrade there comps for better games just play the browser based games

plus theres not really a huge learning curve to it, any 10 year old can play it, i played it and it was truely addicting. i stoped playing for a long time now.

runescape sucked when i first tried it and i tried again at a later date and it still sucked then. maplestory is better but no free game can compare to diablo 2 (it's heaps better) and don't get me started on that POS called WoW please (what's the fuss over it??)

Runescape is soo boring. I am sure that 90% of the subscribers are 12 or younger, or at least so it seemed when I was playing it.

d2 isnt free to buy lol.

Maplestory is a piece of CRAP compared to Runescape.

The quests and objective in Maple is so lame and childish compared to Runescape.

Talking about Runescape i feel like going back to play a freetoplay game since ive got no d2 on this laptop.

Your making Knight Online look like a good game.

Runescape is horrible. I understand how graphics/visuals aren't everything in a game... but when a game is so unpleasant to the eye, as Runescape is... I just can't ****ing stand it. I'd much rather play a text-based game over Runescape.
