How would you rearrange the letters in the words "new door" to make one word? Note: There is only one correct answer.
Rearranging the letters in new door you get one word

Two very popular and common objects have the same function,
but one has thousands of moving parts, while the other has absolutely no moving parts. What are they?

An hourglass and a sundial.

Suppose you want to cook an egg for exactly 3 minutes. You have only a 5 minute hourglass timer and a
2 minute hourglass timer.
Using these 2 timers, how can you boil the egg for exactly 3 minutes?

Tip both timers over at the same time. When the 2 minute timer runs out, drop the eggs in and cook them until the
5 minute timer runs out!

Generally you aren't supposed to give the answers to the riddles in the same post, you let a couple of guys guess and then if nobody gets it, or somebody does post.
Btw, Idk about you but a Sundial isn't really on my list of "Everday objects". Nor do hourglasses and Sundials really do the same thing, Hourglasses has sand that trickles down as a timer, Sundials tell what time of day it is by the position of the sun. Sundial and Clock would be a better answer.
