decided to come back to D2

well after spending about $300 on WoW, just to give the game a good spin.
I've decided to return to my dark master D2. most of my charcters weren't expired, because i had the feeling i'd be back eventually.

my impressions of WoW:
waste of time & money. It's good if your into the whole MMORPG thing. but if prefer my games to be more action-packed.

so i thought i'd come here and ask a few questions that i'm too lazy to go looking for.

1) any plans on a ladder reset coming up? i'm sure i know the answer to this one.

2) from what i've gathered duping has been going on full steam while i was gone. are the servers fudged up? economy? ect?

3) can someone give me some potions wacky:

hello, just a little info on d2 its infested with duped items, pretty much anything decent you trade for on ladder/nonladder its highly likely to be duped, also most people have quit, b.net hasnt reset ladder in like 16 months and no sign of a reset any time soon. also almost all the time games lagg like hell due to dupers, but on the bright side, its still d2.. id suggest you join a priv server but only if your into pking / clans d2pk.org or relivedgaming.com, gl to you.

I definetely must reccomend a private realm as bnet has spiraled into complete and total anarchy. Blizzard doesn't give a crap about dupers but will still insta-ban you for a maphack... Bnet has officially lived out it's life span, at least the D2 part of it's life.
