Hello, I have recently got an IP ban on Diablo 2: Lord of Destruction. I'm not to sure why though but I think its because of the program "Stealthbot" I have a question, hoping someone can answer it. I was wondering if someone could tell me how long an IP ban lasts for? I know it depends on the reason why the IP ban was made. But, if someone could give me an estimate that would be great. Thank you for the support.happy2:

Well I myself have had 12 bans lasting 12 hours sometimes longer but I have recently discoverd a way to change your Ip address so your new Ip is not banned.
I have a D-Link Di-624 Wireless router that has a wired connection to my computer I play diablo on. After some realm down's and temp ip bans I got fed up with waiting that time for some dumb thing I may have done or not done. Any ways When I log into my router from my internet browser I type 192.168.0.1 to connect to my router enter my password and then I find my WAN tab and when I go into that tab Lower on the page is my routers MAC Address and All I have to do to change my Ip address is to change my routers Mac Address and as I do that the ip changes. So I just change the last two numeric digits in my routers Mac address, Hit apply. Then my router will restart and boot up with a new ip address, then I'm Back online on d2. When I do this it changes the last 2 parts of my ip address. Example: my ip will go from xxx.xxx.45.33 to xxx.xxx.36.66 So I will have a different enough Ip address for battle net not to have temp banned it. Hopefully If you are running off of a router then you can have the same sucess as I have.
