D2 Loader Help PLZ!

Hi, I was wonderin of anyone could help me with D2Loader... im having problems trying to run LOD without a cd.... unfortunaly i lost it.... and when i put the D2Loader into Diablo II folder, it says that the version isn't correct, ive tried renaming it to "Diablo II.exe" and "DiabloII.exe" I've spent hours and nothing is working =[ PLEASEEE, Can anyone help me to get this to work!

I have deamon tools.. I try to mount it to try to get LOD to work, but it says LOD CD isnt inside =[

Did you just do a clean install, and placed d2 loader in your d2 folder??
Try one of the older d2 loaders, then update. Try this one Diablo II Sector Downloads » Diablo II » Download Archives » D2 Loader v1.11.

Yah, I'm pretty sure i installed it clean, I just installed normal D2 with the CD, but I installed LOD with an iso. Maybe thats a problem? I even tried to follow my freinds instructions.

Okay, so i tired the D2Loader you gave me, i copied it and palced into D2 folder and when it ry to open, it says "We got a big error guys."

Well I Am gonna say this to you, everything that can go wrong, has gone wrong.

Since you lost your CD, you lose 2 critical files needed to run D2Loader, d2xmusic.mpq and d2xvideo.mpq which are supposed to be copied to your D2 Folder.

Second for DAEMON Tools, you will need the .iso files for each disc. You can PM me for the download links as for you cannot post illegal links in d2sector, so just PM me.

OMG NEVERMIND, EDITED XD THANK YOU, YOU HELPED ME SO MUCH!! IM SO HAPPY!! IT WORKS!!!! ><; I forgot to update LOD.... I updated classic D2 instead of LOD lol... OMG THANK YOU!!!! I LOVE YOU ALL!! XD

yeah thats a common mistake.. if you don't get online first after your clean d2 install, and get the 1.11b update from blizz, then loader wont work for sure.. loader can be hard to install because if you make just 1 mistake.. nothing works.
