You used to be able to trade gold for items and items for gold, but then some people kinda ruined by accumulating tons of gold and banking it.

That's what the bank was for, he meant way back when, there was a Point Whore (Dynafrom) who accumulated so many points he was able to buy any item he wanted in the game, like 600x over. We had to reset the point system at that point.

Umm actually d2jsp's fg is pretty useful and many use it. They created a mini-d2 store and it works great

Lol, Who cares i think it would be good and bad, good becuase out of the 60 noobs we would get here spamming and posting garbage(evidently I'm one of them??) to get thier gold up, we would get two or three good posters that actually contribute to the forums. It would just have to make the mods jobs a little more tough, to keep up with the spammers, and seeing on my infraction for "kkthx" in a pointless thread, i think they have to much time on thier hands.

Too much time? We go through the threads and usually glance over them. Making a post of "kk thx" in a thread that wasn't even to inform you of anything, or give you anything to thank for, does not count as a contribution to the forum, it's spam. Get over it.

I see none, and you should probobly realise it as well. As for you being a mod, i think you do a great job and never had a problem with the way you do it, and i see no problem with you giving me an infraction, it was one point and i wasn't temp banned. So no big deal.
