i wanted a blizzard sorc, so i spent the last few days experiment while i had off and i think i made my first decent sorc. Let me know if these skills are right
+20 Blizzard
+20 Cold Mastery
+1 Teleport
rest in synergies for blizzard
How is that build? also, hows should my stats be divided, i couldnt get them layed out decently im not used to a sorc build at all. thanks in advance(probably gonna be frater lol so thanks again man)

Is this sorc for mf/dueling or what?
Anyways, you should use energy shield, so add one to Energy Shield and the prerequisites: Charged bolt, Lightning, Telekinesis and Chain Lightning(didn't add Teleport because you would already add to it). Also, 1 point into warmth never hurt(especially if you're gonna be using Energy Shield).
As for stats, enough STR for your gear then it depends. You could add to dex for max block or just all into vita. Depends on you're gear using/what you're using this sorc for/what you want to do. Also don't add any points into energy which is pretty much the same for any build.

Yeah a blizz sorc is a good build to start off with. When I first started my sorc build and she had poor gear(as in not total crap but like skulders/shako/occy/lidless/no sojs/1 skill ammy etc I noticed she'd run out of mana teleing which was really gay. So I suggest until you're a little richer equipping you're merc with insight, it'll save a lot of grief. You're merc's damage really doesn't matter that much anyways if you're just mfing meph/andy etc.

If its an es build you add energy..

Well not mainly on ES, he's mfing with this build. So ES is just to save him for that one hit from dying so I figured mana wouldn't be that big a deal. Also, a insight merc would just heal his mana right back up. But, maybe you should add energy but when you get richer and get sojs you're mana will be a lot higher too. If you find you're running out of mana teleing and don't have an insight/can't get one for you're merc(if you're nl and it's expensive for example) then some energy would be the way to go. Just not a lot. Like I say to everyone who wants advice, piss around(excuse the expression) with this build in hero editor too.

You guys are off on this one actually.
1) Blizzard sorcs are almost strictly 100% full VIT builds, so no ES = no energy. ES Blizzers are rare and not as good.
2) 1 Teleport, rest in Blizzard and it's synergies. If for PvM, max out Glacial Spike last, if for PvM, max out Ice Blast last.
3) Stats, enough STR for gear, rest VIT.

1. I meant add one to ES because it will allow him to get hit once without dying(since he's using poor gear).
2. I think you mixed that up, you put PvM twice.
3. Yeah, sorcs don't really need max block so dex would be useless and no build uses energy really.

2. My bad. PvM = Max Blast last, PvP = max Glacial last.

I don't know if cold mastery -res works in PvP, I don't think so. This is a PvM build though, one point into Cold Mastery couldn't hurt.

Lol, max Cold Mastery obviously. Of course it works in PvP and PvM, it's the reason for why Blizz sorcs are good.
