What is a good defense for a mage plate enigma. I found a 10 ed 3os mage plate and had a duped jah and ber rune so I decided to make lemonade. Anyone know what good def for it is. I forget how much def it has, I think that it was a decent amount. Any insight?

my mp nigma has 1121 def so im guessing anywhere around from there to 1200 is great!

Mage Plate defense: 225-261
Enigma Defense Bonus: 750-775

Min Defense: 225 + 750 = 975
Max Defense: (261 X 1.15) + 775 = 1075.5~Does D2 round up or down?

So your range is 975-1075.5 defense. I'll leave you to decide what's a good defense.

Well mine has 10 ed but is 3 away from lowest +defense so yea...unlucky roll I suppose.

When an armor receives the enhanced defense attribute, its base defense will always be the maximum. The calculation done by hellsing was right, maximum defense on a mage plate enigma is 1075. What nexus said was completely inaccurate.

I think mine is 1048 defense then....
