I have had more fun with a windy than any other char. They are great to rush with, decent to mf with, and pretty effective at pvp. They can be very costly to build a perfect 1 but are well worth it when your done. I have built 1 fire sorc. She was a lvl 57 mld baller and was built to perfection. I spent like 10 trillion hrs on her. I even made her a godly merc for pvp but I just couldnt get the hang of it and all the telle made me lag a bit. I have seen well built fireballers dominate a pvp game more often than not.
In the end the choice is up to you but if you just have the budget to make 1 then I would suggest making the windy. I just love the druid in evry form and have very much enjoyed playing with 1 in wolf or bear form also.

Don't make a fireball sorc if you intend on being bm, because you'll get knocked the **** out by a bunch of sorbers. People will still sorb you even if you dont bm which is why I'm not a very big fan of sorcs. Windy druids FTW.
