****** question regarding runewords

hi all,

i found that when certain runeworded items are equipped, there will be an aura, eg. brambles, doom, hand of honour etc.

eg. if my paly is currently activating a level 10 thorns aura, and that he wears a bramble armour with a level 15 thorns aura, what happens? does the game take the higher aura (15 in this case) or does both of them stack to 25?

i heard from some that the former is true. if so, that's a pity, cos if equipped by a palu, it makes some of the auras not worth pursuing.

1 from bramble,1 from doom,1 from merc,1 from yourself...which else adds to auras...forgot...

on merc u use, bramble, doom and his own aura , thats 3

then u use azurewrath, ur own custom aura and u use the metalgrip amulet and then u summon an irongolem on a beast item, so now u got 6 auras

I have Fanatism, Defiance, Blessed Aim, Holy Freeze. Thorns from Bramle is kinda useless, so is Sanctuary from Azurewrath.

does spirit of barbs and oak sage count as an aura btw?

his is the aura that a act 2 merc provides .... like a nm act 2 merc gives holy freeze if he is dfnse and a hell act 2 dfnse provides defiances(which i use)
