You could do it naked wearing nothing but a wizardspike and a lidless wall. FCR is all it takes. I think MF mercs are a waste of time.

I think a holy freeze merc would be the best for a sorc, it slows enemies way down , so by the time they get to you youre long gone...but back to the thread, I still think 300-350 is the best....more will always be better, but not if u have to sacrifice killing power....

Once you get passed 500% the returns diminish quite quickly. The time you would sacrifice while using this much MF simply wouldn't be worthwhile. I've said before and I'll say again, MF comes second to repetitiveness.

You have a valid argument, that the more MF the better, had you put your point across in a less moronic way people may listen to you, now your just another idiot making those of us who can organise a valid argument look better by comparison.

any way my sorc had about 532 mf and merc had 200 + but she would die trying to tele to meph and andy would kill her and her merc sucked so i would say its not all about mf its about how many runs u can do with out dieing and wasting time.... for expample my friend was doing andy runs (lvl 90) 200 - mf and he found a tal ammy..... 30 second runs.

Eat a d!ck kid... 400 MF has done ALOT better for me than 700+ EVER has plus the fact that 700+mf means low def low res(ie. mephy kills you in one hit) Yes, it is possible to get 700+ MF with Tals set but alot of people can't do it...

If your sorc dies just teleporting to the location...GET MORE FCR....make ur second weapon set wizspike and lidless....plus if you use tals gear you should have no problem....and if you still do, id get a new computer....and if you still do after that, well, id give up

i use about 500 and my finds are amazing! the stats and such are on various websites...go look and them and you will see exactly how it works!...yes more is better!

The entire term for magic find is, in example,

50% Better CHANCE of Getting Magic Items.

Magic items, includes, all Blue, Yellow, Green, AND Gold items. Each character has a BASE magic find % of 100%. So if you have 322% from your items, it is actually 422%.

The whole thing is based on chance, which means that it is all about luck. Magic find reduces the chance of the item being dropped to it being a Low Quality, Normal Quality, Or superior item. YOU CANNOT CHANGE THE ITEM THE MONSTER DROPS!!! It is totally random. All magic find does is improve the QUALITY of the item that is dropped. That means if pindle were to have a preset item drop of a Colossus Blade, magic find increases the chance of it being a Unique (like grandfather), a set (Bulkathos blade), a rare, or a magic item. Magic find also DOES NOT change the chance of the item being ethereal or not, or the mods ON the item. Those are completely RANDOM!

So if you find diddly squat with 700 MF compared to a person with 500 MF, there is NO REASON for you to be lowering your magic find, as it is all about luck. 500 MF is not, in any way, shape or form, better than 700MF.

i dont think mf counts.. i think it is about how fast u kill the monster to m opion. my sorc does 3k with blizz and does shit to meph and get crap while my hammer does 11k kills meph quick with decent drops
