if your in the middle of small arms fire then no. if someone has a weapon and you try to take it and they wont reply or if someone is comming up to you give them a warning. then another warning . if still nothing BOOM HEAD SHOT. but you cant just shoot someone thats murder.
just do what you have to , to protect your self. we are on return fire only! thats how u stop from making a mistake

In ANY Armed service the U.C.M.J applies,individuals are judged accordingly to the circumstance and perhaps mitigating factors.
Know this...U.C.M.J. is a tad different than regular litigation.To truely understand this you would have to speak with a Military Lawyer.
In an Armed Service...you are guilty until proven innocent.
In the public,you are innocent until proven guilty.
U.C.M.J stands for Uniform Code of Military Justice.

That is not sololy true. It depends on your mission.Also everyone in Iraq is allowed to own an ak. So if you see a dude with an ak you can't really shoot them. It also depends on your ROE's (rules of engagement) Generally if you are in a firefight you can kill every one that has a weapon (called combatants) unless they surrender. Also understands sometimes during celebrations they will fire their weapons into the air. They will try and hug you.Basicly if you follow your roe's and eof you will be fine.(Yes, I am a Marine)
