Anyone see a midnight showing of Spiderman 3?

Just curious if anyone else trudged to the movie theater at midnight last night(actually this morning) to see the new spiderman movie and any thoughts on it.

It was soooo boring, I went with like 4 of my friends (Not at midnight, yesterday at like 9 PM), and one of them actually fell asleep midway through it. The badguys were "cool" I guess, but they had such a little time on the screen that it didn't matter. The Sandman was unstoppable, had New York had a beach it would be like game over... and Venom... Venom was just too loud and short, he looked like the comics and his scream pierced my ears because the Movie Theatre decided that whenever he screams to blast the speakers, but his screentime was hella short... 1/10 for me.

VENOM DIES, HARRY DIES, SANDMAN JUST LEAVES, IT ENDS SIMILAR TO THE FIRST ONE AT HARRY'S FUNERAL. THE FIRST 2 HOURS IS LIKE WATCHING DAYS OF OUR LIVES WITH A SPIDERMAN THEME.

Yeah I keep hearing they ruined it. I need to go see that and 28 Weeks Later next weekend hehe. I get paid friday then I'll start seeing these movies.

This may remind me of X-Men, which even the first X-Men movie was completely wrong of the story but was good. It just went downhill from the second one though. The third one was what ****ed it good.

It seems they are giving the movie way to many villians, maybe instead of Spidey 3 this should have been broken into Spidey 3-5.

Venom was born and killed within the last 20 minutes. That's how much they crammed it together. Meanwhile Sandman was created in the beginning, but didn't do that much stuff til the end. Seriously though, the middle 1.5 hours was all about Peter and MJ talking.. like non stop... unbelievably boring.

They don't just talk...He fights sandman once...maybe twice during the middle. And he dances too...so yeah not much happens in the middle.

the movie was bad in my opinion. too much shit between MJ and Peter and not enough actual action / storyline / whatever. i think venom was just in the movie for the sake of being in the movie. the friends i saw it with told me venom was supposed to be displayed as 10x stronger than spiderman and such and there was barely a fight scene between them. i was clrly disappointed.

lol i swear me and my mates cracked up. I loved the part where spiderman jumps in and there's the american flag fluttering in the prefect breeze right behind him (/sarcasm).
I swear they ruined it with all that dancing crap, talking and just being overly cheesy. (doesn that count as spoilers?)
