Whats the best key runner???

Ok while I have stopped playing vanilla LoD, when I did play I used a lite sorc to do key runs. I can't really compare it with a hammerdin since I never made one of those, but I can say that if you have Infinity on your merc (and you wear a Nature's Peace) she was pretty awesome with key runs - very quick (high FCR and all).

So basically I think these are the 2 best characters out there for doing key runs - a hammerdin or a lite sorc. Take your pick.

I have used both for keys runs before. Although I used a Hammerdin for most of the runs; it was non-ladder so I did not have an infinity for me merc. I think that a light sorc would be better. Other than those two nothing can compete for key running.

I use light sorc with Infinity on my Merc for light immunes.

I can tele around pretty quick to get to the boss (I don't use MH), Use chainlightning for the clumps of monsters and then finish off the boss with pure light.

Hammerdins are great too....

Go with a light sor, I mean they are better then a hammerdin in many ways first of all they are faster they can range their attacks meaning they dont have to be next to the person to kill them, and they have more damage.

Howz about a light scorc key runner guide then please, because it sounds like the best choice along side a hammerdin. (which i have already started prior to this thread). Also, what is the best gear for a keyrunner hdin? Normal stuff cept with wartravs and a raven + nagel.

Nihilthak is sometimes immune to lightning, so I stick with Hammerdin. Or Trap Assassin or any good char with Nature's peace.

hammerdin with natures, he's unstoppable, and is likely to stay alive longer than a sorce.

I use a blizz sorcy with a strong act2 might merc. Summoner dies with one blizz, and so does nilathak, Countess is cold immune but my merc stabs her to death very easily. I find it easy with a blizz sorcy.

My BVC from last season was great for key running. Enigma for tele obviously and switch out his SS for a Phoenix monarch and it was easy as can be. It's always nice to have a PvP charachter that can earn his keep in PvM.
