I am about to beging on BNET again but I have a few questions while D2 is installing. Is the lag still unbearable since they patched the dupe (so I hear)? And do you still have to perm all of your items before leaving a game if you traded for them? These could quite possibly affect my decision to play bnet.

The lag is alright....it's not atrocious, but some games could be better, really, you only have to perm things like pcoas pgriffs sojs bk's and hrs.
but other than that...it's pretty cool

Lag can be horrible. When you are baalin...game can drop from fire sorc and shit like that.
Only have to perm the same items you always have had to; for the most part.

The lag isn't bad at all now but I can't answer the question about perming items. I quit trading when everyone started duping items so I'm no help on that subject. Battlenet has some new lag filter in place. I have a druid that hits the fastest fury bp and when I attack with my torch on, the whole friggin game drops and everyone in it. So if your doing public baal runs and your melee, don't use torch.
