d2sector.net is older, and preceded, blizzardsector.net. So maybe that is why it only lists 1+ year(s).

He probably could have gotten more for d2sector especially when it was connected to the forums. We had at least 50k members at one point. Then again, this is just what the name is worth.

No it isn't, if that was the case then domain name registrations would be a fortune.

I don't.... understand?
New domains are like 10 bucks a year, but a domain that has been used and gained alot of hype (like Ebay) can be sold just for the name. It's like buying a business that has a good name, the property might be say 5 million, but you could end up paying 8.

As for the value of the site ,who cares really? Not ME I assure you,I don't get paid to do any of this.
I am here because Spit wanted me here.It is just that simple. If he makes money from the site I say GOOD.

Actually Pamela all of that is public information available to the public, if you look up blizzardsector/d2sector on any whois website it will show detailed information such as the host/registrar/administrator/his address/hosting address/email..etc. It's all there for a reason.

You can get the url via the images posted :p
A sites value can also be made by say Advertising revenue made in a year times by 2 i think. or something like that.
CyberWyre » Website Value Calculator - Making A Living 100% Online calculates it as $8,500
Will never sell the sites though :p And the 22 odd domain names.
