If you wanna play a more modern diablo 2, go play WoW.
SC2 can't be pay 2 play, how can you make a strategy game pay 2 play, unless they added countless units and upgrades and maps and more story line and etc etc... but what ar the odds of that anyway

I read somewhere that Blizzard had started D3 years ago and scrapped it. The storyline took place in heaven this time, not sure on anything else. I'd have to go google it and find it again, and being that it's 4am AND I'm lazy... Chances of that are slim to none.

Anywho, the fact that they scrapped a D3 project is actually good news. They were working on it because they were interested in making it. That means it's possible that it'll be picked back up. After WoW dies down, lol. They won't be doing ANY MMORPG games until the cashflow from WoW lessens. And you can bet that, in the eventuality that WoW does slow down, D3 will be a monthly subscription game. I'd say $20 a month or $25. 9.3 million people are subscribed to WoW for $15. That's a lot of people who think it's reasonable. They'll push it up for sure to see how much they can get away with in their next MMO.
