D2 Loader SbS Please

I have tried pretty much everything to get the d2 loader working. I got in the directory and removed the talk and sound.mpqs. And when I run it it says "Common Init Failed".

So I was wondering If anyone can give me a step-by-step process of how to get the d2 loader to work. I think that would be the easiest way for me to get it working, and i'm sure some other people would appreciate it as well.

i dont think you are supposed to remove any files at all. you are supposed to copy "d2xmusic.mpq" & "d2xvideo.mpq" from your LOD cd to your Diablo2 directory.
