If you create a game that you havn't done any of the bosses yet. And joing with another character. When you kill the boss does it count as the first time? Thanks

Drop rates increase at the first time you kill a boss right? So I was wondering if I can create a game where I havn't killed any of the bosses yet. But use a different character to kill. Does that make sense?

I don't think drop rates are affected if it's your first time killing a boss or not. Where did you hear that?

My friend told me that also, that was a long time ago. Before they came out with the .09 patch. He played the game since it came out so I believed him, but from my personal experience, I don't think it's true. Maybe back then but now I got no reason to believe so

If you are trying to get the "quest drop", you should try the following:

Do all of the act 1 quests in order. Some suggest you should even use your imbue when you get it (I don't, but it wouldn't hurt just in case). After you kill Andariel, talk to Warriv and head to act 2. Now every time you kill Andariel, you will get "quest" drops. Quest drops are better than her non-quest drops. In most cases, you will get rares. Do it in full games for a possibility of 4-5 rare's. This also works in nightmare and hell for your high lvl needs.

if you do the boss for the first time in that character it gives you more chance of drops..how can you guys not know that blank:
