I thought that they discontinued production of the 20gb.

And they were losing 100-200 dollars for each system sold when it launched.

Doesn't matter if it's only 500 right now...Still no library to back up the system. It's like, "Hey! Look at our deluxe paper weight. Only 500 dollars now!"

What does it lose with 20gb? It sounds typical of these companies. They make a cheaper version and you lose a lot of features.

Doesn't matter who can afford it if all the games blow. There only exclusive is like MGS4 and it's still not out.

Why go buy the ps3 when you can buy a computer for the same price. I like computer games more anyway, not to mention a ps3 will most likely have an emulator in the future. It just seems like a waste of money.

Yeah...considering there is no real working PS2/xbox. And the GC emulator doesn't work with every game.

Theres a ps2 one out right now pcsx2 from what i hear runs good. All my emulators are on my linux machine and I havent found a game they wont run.

dude i dont want to burst your bubble to if they made an emulator for ps3. that would be some major size into one little file. were talking 4gb for one rom.

you can run disk as well as roms. And computer games are usually 4 gigs anyway. I got a 500 GB hard drive and a 250 GB external so it wouldnt really bother me.

It has one. Burns blue ray as well. I think its straight retarded to pay that much for a game system when cheaper more viable alternatives are availible. Sony is making money off peoples stupidity right now.
