I find glacial one of the most useful spells...
The part i dun like bout meteor is that is takes a long time for it to 'boom'!
I like firewall...but the dmg cant be compared to meteor's initial dmg...

Three Elemental Sorceress will be completely useless, even a Duel Tree Sorceress won't kill anything on her own, unless you've got a few hours to do it monster at a time.

Kietaro, if you want research done, why do you expect other peopl to do it for you?

Kickinass, as a rule of thumb, I don't give out cookie-cutter builds because I think thats boring. I will guide you in the right direction however.

You need more points in fire than you do in cold, to make it worthwhile. You don't 'have' to max out cold mastery for it to be useful, 10 points base should be sufficient. Then max out blizzard and one of the ice blast type skills. then max fire mastery and meteor, whatever you have left put into fireball. download a trainer, and play around in single player with different builds and get one that suits your gaming style. Don't use someone elses character, it takes the fun out of the game.

Are there any general differenses between a PvP and a PvM barb?

Firewall is the single most useless spell ever. It's just not flexible enough to actually work. It does do plenty of damage, but you'll kill more with meteor minus all your synergies. Obviously with the synergistic bonus go meteor all the way.

yea..but if meteor could 'pop' out as fast as firewall..itll be great...sometimes meteor seems like its taking 1 hour for it to drop when lister's gang is surrounding you...

Takes a bit of planning thats all. Just napalm the damn room beforehand lol.

meteor doesnt take THAT long... and when it hits its well worth the wait, its easily way better than firewall, which lasts a whole 2 seconds

Synergistic fireball is fantastic as well. Not as good as Ice Bolt, but it'll do slightly more damage, just won't freeze monsters.
