I haven't been on in a while, my mothers dog spilled gatorade all over my laptop and my logicboard fried. Hence I haven't been on in a while, but I got a cheap replacement, so now I'm back smartass2 And since I'm sick i'll probably be very active the next few days.

pop open the keyboard....get some qtips and cotton balls and some nail polish remover.....maybe a few toothpicks to scrap anything super sticky....an hair dryer to dry it all off....


i have fixed laptop keyboards that had been hit with sprite......give it a try if there is no warranty that is going to happen to it, you'd be shocked at how far you can get.

I don't think q-tips will help fix a broken logicboard, and it's a mac so it's hard to pop off the keyboard. : /

@Kyle,Glad you are back and posting at least! My cat did almost the same thing jumping up to the scanner .(It sits on a seperate table next to my moniter and keyboard)

@BMT,this is true to an extent,as both have significant amounts of acid,which clings to the plaque,in turn speeding the erosion of enamal.Brushing with a hard toothbrush takes enamel off as well.

The benefit of Gatoraid over soda(any kind) is the balance of electrolites.
